Coach Smitty is the Founder & CEO of Csmitty Soccer Training, bringing a wealth of soccer expertise and experience to the organization. A passionate advocate for player development, he has a distinguished background both as a player and coach.

Growing up in the DFW area, Coach Smitty played youth soccer for Solar Soccer Club, which laid the foundation for his successful career. His talent led him to the U17 USA Residency Program in Bradenton, Florida, and later to the U20 US National Team, where he gained invaluable international experience.

As a four-year starter at Southern Methodist University (SMU), a top 10 Division I program, Coach Smitty played a key role in helping the Mustangs secure numerous conference championships. He continued his professional career with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the United Soccer League (USL), further honing his skills and understanding of the game at the highest levels.

With a deep commitment to fostering soccer talent, Coach Smitty leverages his extensive playing experience and coaching expertise to provide athletes with the tools they need to succeed.

Charles is a former NCAA Division I athlete and experienced coach with a strong background in elite-level soccer. A four-year starter at Texas Christian University, he was known for his leadership, tactical awareness, and relentless work ethic. Before college, he captained the varsity team at Saint Louis University High School and played for the Saint Louis Scott Gallagher Development Academy, winning two Missouri State Cup titles.

Charles has also led training sessions and camps for youth players through TCU Men’s Club Soccer and SLUH Summer Camps. His coaching style focuses on technical development, game IQ, and building confidence in every athlete. Whether you're new to the game or looking to reach the next level, Charles brings high-level experience and a passion for player development to every session.
